My name is Steve Haverly and I am running for Mayor of Tacoma in 2025.

I’m a lifelong citizen of this city with some innovative ideas for our favorite place on planet earth.

I am running for every person living in Tacoma. I treat all people equally as individuals and give respect to every opinion. Because that is the way democracy is supposed to work.

I have no desire to be a career politician. I look at this position as a privilege and an opportunity to do incredible things for the city that I love and respect.

My strong leadership will bring fresh energy, positive changes and a vision based on common sense that Tacoma so desperately needs right now.

I’ve avoided politics most of my life. It’s always felt confusing to me to see my country divided. I never put an R or D by my name, and I can see that both sides have many great things about them. We need someone who is willing to meet in the middle and discuss the tough issues to come up with fair remedies. We need better safety and protection, we need assistance for small businesses, we need spending transparency. I could go on and on, but I believe Steve Haverly has our city’s best interest in mind. Let’s all meet in the middle and talk it out. Steve can do it.
